Maps can be useful sources of information. The counties in the state of Arizona are divided into subdivisions called Districts. These divisions help to breakdown services, and elections within an area making administration and management easier. Arizona has districts for Congressional, Legislative, and Supervisors.

A Congressional District is and electoral subdivision to choose a member of Congress to represent them. Arizona has eight Congressional Districts.

Legislative Districts are also electoral subdivisions for electing members to the state legislature. Each district elects representatives to represent them locally. Arizona is divided into thirty legislative districts.

Another electoral subdivision of the state is Supervisor Districts. Residents within a supervisor district choose one member to the Board of Supervisors in their county. Pinal County has five Supervisor Districts.
